Revenue impact on cash flow and regulated asset base and impact on distribution network operations due to increase in net-metered solar systems
Grid codes, standards and regulatory framework needed for large scale integration of net-metered solar photovoltaic systems
Billing and metering systems to support net-metering tariffs

Energy sector assessment and policy review of Georgia, including an analysis of current reforms and compliance with Georgian energy sector reform road-map and the European Energy Community ascension treaty.
Assessment of limiting barriers and risks in regional energy cooperation, explaining existing gaps between available and actual volumes of power transmission, and conditions of bilateral and regional coordination and decision-making on the key parameters of power trade and transit.
Detailed modelling and simulation of the transmission system up to 2028 with analysis of investment priorities in terms of least-cost generation, transit revenue maximization and system stability.
Policy recommendations and measures to enhance sector sustainability and promote regional power trade and transit via Georgia.

Project preparatory assistance including feasibility studies, due diligence and cost/benefit analysis for projects in tranche 3 of the Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program, such as -
Battery Energy Storage: performed technical and financial feasibility studies for (a) pilot battery energy storage system for reducing wind power forecast errors and supporting frequency regulation; and (b) developing commercial Ancillary Services markets
Electricity Market: evaluated the suitability of CPPA-G’s Oracle ERP system and NTDC’s secure metering system for market settlement in accordance with international standards
SCADA III Project: providing consultancy on secure data transmission and energy management system (EMS) including optimal power flow (OPF) and automatic generation control (AGC)
